Dont run from the animal cops, they'll get ya!

So a few months ago we got a posting on our door from the animal cops saying that our dog got out, I seriously crumpled it up and threw it in the garbage. Well apparently I should have read it first and registered the dog with the city. So a few months go by and I don't hear anything and to be compltely honest I never thought twice about that stupid thing on my door. Then Tuesday I went to check my mail only to find 2 administrative citations from the animal cops. One was for $50 bucks and the other for (get this) $800.00. I could not believe it, so this morning I went and tried to reason with 2 white trash ladies at the animal shelter they told me my only option was to go to court and appeal the fines. To make a long story short, I managed to shed a few tears for the district attorneys secretery and she called the HEAD copper and we got the fines removed. Anyway I am sooo relieved to have this over with, so if any of you have a run in with the animal cops they actually have power and they SUCK!!!!!

New Rooms!!!!

We have finally finished the final touches of the kids new bedrooms. Maycies room is so girly but she is probably the most girly girl you will ever meet. Thanks to my gracious Aunt and Uncle for the awesome bed, she loves it!!

Grayson and Bradley are both finally sleeping on the bunk beds in their room and I have gotten rid of the pack and play. Since then we have put down new floor, painted, and tried to carry out a jungle theme. Let me know what you think or if anyone has any good ideas for making their room more jungle-esk. The final touch of the boys room is yet to come, their aunt Manon is a very talented interior designer and painter and has offered to come paint a jungle mural on the wall (I will post pictures when it is finished).

Are you smarter than a christmas tree?

Oh my gosh after thinking what a great job I did getting our new "fake" Christmas tree at 75% off I couldn't just take it home and wait until next year to set it up. So on December 30Th I set my tree up and fluffed the heck out of it. I am really proud of myself for setting it up, it was so easy. Okay so for the take down part, not so easy.... I swear after I wrangled it down the stairs with the bottom two pieces still together I just wanted to throw it in the garbage. I then tried for almost an hour to get the pieces apart and in the mean time my hand are scraped and currently still hurting. Finally after and hour and a half my tree was back in it's box. If I only would have known what a pain in the a** it was going to be I probably would have been fine waiting until next year to set the darn thing up. By the way this post is written purely out of frustration.
