My Early Christmas
My dear husband....boy do I love him....except for the fact that he cannot keep a secret to save his life. Especially if he put any thought into the gift. Last night I got home from work at 12:00 AM only to be greeted by a very excited husband. He only lasted about 20 minutes before he gave me my present. He did a great job this year. He got me the UGG boots that I have been wanting, he tells me that his theory behind him giving me my gift early is to make sure I like it so I won't be disappointed on Christmas day. This just cracks me up, every year for 7 years I have yet to be surprised on Christmas morning. Maybe next year he will last until Christmas.....(yeah right).

My Tiny Dancer
So my dream of having a little ballerina have finally come true! Maycie was in her first dance recital last night, and I was such a proud parent, she was the only one that did the whole dance!!! I had tears in my eyes by the end of the dance because she really had practiced hard to learn her dance. As soon as I can figure out how to post the video I will, but until then pictures will have to do.
We got Maycie the jewelery box that she wanted as a good job prize. She has been wanting the ballerina jewelry box for a few months and we thought this was the perfect time to give it to her.
Maycie and her friends from class
Grayson is such a supportive big brother!

George the Elf
Okay so we have a new member of our family, his name is george, I LOVE GEORGE!!! He is quite, he never talks, he doesn't watch TV, and best of all I have never had such well behaved children when he is around. He came with a book that explains to the kids that "george" (that is what grayson wanted to name him) comes from the north pole every year and watches the kids to see if they are naughty or nice. Every night he flys to Santa and tells him how the kids are acting, then he returns back to our home and sits in a different spot every morning. Anyway to make this story short this thing has been a life saver. The kids wake up every morning so excited to see where goerge landed, they have been so good since he came here, all I have to do is threaten that I am going to tell George they are being naughty and it whips them into shape. THANK YOU SO MUCH GRANDMA SMITH!!! GREAT IDEA!!! Oh and I saw Twilight last night, I LOVED IT, really I did.

Caution, 30 year old CHILD!
Bradley and his moustache, oh my gosh!
Grayson and his funny facial hair.
Adam jumps at the chance to do anything like this. I do have to admit at least it made me laugh. Grayson looked in the mirror and said, "dad, I don't like this mustache, can you please wipe it off" I had to take a picture before he wiped it off.

What I am thankful for:
Since it is thanksgiving I thought I would take a little time to jot down what I am thankful for.
1. Family; I am so lucky to have three amazing kids that make me laugh everyday. I am grateful for Adam, not only being a great husband and dad but also a great best friend. I am very grateful that we live so close to both sides of our family and we are able to see them so much, we are excited to make fun memories today with cousins and family. I am also grateful for the memories I have of Thanksgivings past, meeting Adams family for the first time, Lori's crazy exercises (and her strip tease), watching the Macy's thanksgiving day parade and ice skating all day at grandmas house, eating great food, and hanging out with cousins.
2. Health; I am so grateful to have a healthy family, when something happens it really reminds you how much you take your health for granted.
3. The Church; I am so thankful to have the church in my life, where would I be without it!
4. Friends; I love my friends, I have made so many new friends this past year at work and I am so grateful for all of them. I am also grateful for my best friends that are always there for me!
5. My home; I know its not big or grand but I am grateful to own my own home and have a place to get away from the world!
I want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving!

I'm Addicted
I am so addicted to the show John and Kate plus 8. Since I haven't been working I have some time to watch a little TV and let me tell you I absolutely love this show!! She is so mean to her husband and I just get a kick out of watching how crazy it would be to have 8 kids. I thought I should also update this to tell everyone what we have found out so far. The reason I am so tired all the time is because I am pregnant. Crazy huh.... just kidding I thought that would catch your attention. I am not pregnant, I went to the doctor and he gave me some blood pressure medication. I can't believe that it has made such a big difference in how I feel. I don't feel dizzy and stressed out all of the time it has been great! I have an appointment with a neurologist next Wednesday so hopefully he can tell me why my arms are always hurting and numb. I also found out that my headaches and eye pain were from my spinal tap leaking. I really took it easy the past few days and I have been feeling much better. I am going to try to work tomorrow, we will see how that goes!

Happy Birthday Kym!
Happy Birthday Kym! Since she pretty much lives with us I feel like I should make a big deal about her birthday. I am also excited to say that I got a new niece this week. Christy and Charlie had her on Tuesday afternoon her name is Allison Bailey Fruits, pretty cute huh... I can't wait to go and see her. Well that is the exciting stuff, now for the boring things, We still don't know what the heck is wrong with me. I have never been so frustrated about anything before. Today I did get a call from Karina who gave me the name of some great doctors who are hopefully going to figure out what is going on. I am so sick of not feeling well, I feel like I am so weak to the point that grocery shopping seems like such a chore, my eyes hurt so bad that even proof reading this entry hurts, so if I have spelling errors, I am sorry. I just really want to get back to my old self so that I can enjoy life again!

Pumpkin Patch
Maycie even found herself a princess
He is sooooo cute I just want to squeeze him!
Last night for family night we went to the pumpkin patch. All of the kids got to pick out their pumkins. Of course Maycie picked out a perfectly round nice pumpkin. Grayson choose the biggest one he could find, and Bradley got a little baby one because he couldn't lift any other ones. We can't wait to carve our pumpkins and go trick or treating. (really I can't wait until my kids stop asking, how many more days until trick or treating).
Hiking to Donut Falls
This weekend we went on our first adventure up the canyon for a little hike. Adam and I knew the kids would love it, so to prepare Adam made the kids little treasure maps that would help them find the treasure on our hike. Grayson was so funny, as we were hiking he said "Mom, do we need to look for spectacle bears?" my first thought was what the hell is a spectacle bear, anyway that is what Dora the Explorer tries to find when she goes hiking it made me laugh. My other favorite part of the hike was watching Bradley climb up the entire trail by himself, he refused to hold my hand or let me carry him. When we stopped to look at the river (and throw in a few rocks, this was Adams favorite part) Bradley would get so excited just watching the water...So we made it to the top of the trail and saw the falls. It was so pretty! Not more than 10 feet down the trail on our way back Bradley slipped in the mud and face planted, he was totally covered! He cried for a minute and then was fine as soon as I told him he could now play in the water and wash himself off. As we headed down the trail we noticed 2 hikers in the bushes signalling us to be quite and to stop. My first thought was oh great there is a bear, but we soon found out that about 10 feet away was a mom moose, 2 babies, and a male. Thank goodness we were right at a pivotal point in the trail that we could take a dirt road that would lead us back to the parking lot. As we hiked back Adam remembered that we had tucked away some money in one of the tree stumps along the trail for the kids to find as there treasure, oh well we tried right? It was a great day, I love fall I love the crisp air and I love spending time with my family!

Our Fun Weekend!
"Our Prom Picture"
We had lunch with all of the boys from discount.
It was so nice to feel refreshed after a night with no kids!
We bought bradley a goldfish LED light and he loves it
Papa and Bradley dancing in the backyard!!!
We had a fun weekend. Adams company had a work party at the Hilton. We stayed there on Saturday night, and had a ton of fun. Thanks to my parents and Kym for taking care of my kiddos, unfortunatly this night only made us want to go on like a week long vacation, we even told eachother we don't really care where we go, just somewhere with no Dora the Explorer playing in the background and now that is has gotten cold we want to go somewhere warm.

The Cabin
Happy Birthday Bradley!!!
My buddah turned two today and it was a realization that I no longer have any babies. We had a little party with grandparents and sisters but nothing big. Anyone who has been to our house knows that anymore than 8 or 10 adults is a full house. I made Bradley a Go Diego cake and he loved it! He got presents and he ate lots of pizza. As a finale Kym and Adam sucked helium from balloons and the kids thought it was so cool. Grayson for the rest of the night talked in a voice that sounded like he had sucked helium it was really funny. I think it was a great night we all had fun!

Kenny and Amys Wedding
Maycie loves to get pictures taken. I think this is my new favorite picture of her!
Like father like son, they both have their eyes closed.
The happily married couple!
Kenny with all of his sisters.
Well I am sad because Adam has had a new project at work that requires my digital camera so I am left to enter a blog with no pictures. He promised I would have it back this week so I will post pictures then. Everything is going good for us right now. I took a week or so off of work and it was a much needed break. Maycie flooded our upstairs a few weeks ago and it has been a battle to try to get things back the way they were, luckily for us the insurance is covering it. Kenny and Amy got married last Saturday, it was a good day, lots of friends and family were in town and we all had a blast together, I think everyone including my parents enjoyed having enough room for guests to stay with them. I have some fun pictures from the wedding that I will post next time I am at my parents house. I am so excited for fall I dyed my hair dark and am ready to wear cute sweaters and jeans again, I just love this weather!

Whats New
I love this picture. Both Grayson and Bradley have been trained by their father to bring mommy flowers no matter if it is a weed or a rose, they are so sweet. We have quite a bit of new things going on in our lives. Adam just got transferred at work to a store that is seriously less than a half mile away from our home even though he does still drive everyday it has been a blessing with gas prices the way they are. Another big change has been Kym moving in with us, she got a job (yeah!!!) and also helps Adam and I for the few hours between me leaving for work and him getting home, we gave her our master bedroom so she has a little space of her own. So my favorite change has been moving our Master bedroom into the basement, prior to it being our bedroom it was an awesome movie room however, it took a lot of convincing but I think Adam likes it just as much as I do. Grayson starts school on Thursday and he is so excited I will posts pictures of his first day next week. Maycie is starting dance soon and for all that know me I can't wait to go and buy her cute little dance outfits. Anyway life has been crazy lately but I think that is the way we like it around here...

Burnt Bradley
So today was such a sad day. I woke up and was getting ready to go do make-up for Maggie Sottero when Bradley came into the bathroom. He got up on the toilet and was watching me get ready when he pretended to grab my curling iron. I told him "don't touch that Bradley it is hot it will burn you..." he looked at me and smiled and then grabbed my curling iron. He now has huge blisters on his hands, he has been kinda sad all day I just feel so bad...

Cookie Sunday
Every week the kids look forward to Sunday for one reason...to make cookies. We have had this tradition for about a year and a half and it is my favorite thing to do with the kids. We all decide what we will make and then we go to the store and each of the kids get their own baskets and carry the ingredients to the checkout. This week we made cupcakes I know that isn't a cookie but anything we have to bake qualifys for cookie Sunday. I thought I would share some of my favorite pictures from this week.

Pioneer Day
All in all a fun day! Adam went to spend the day helping his dad put up a fence, we met up with him for dinner, birthday party, swimming and fireworks. The kids always enjoy seeing their cousins. We had a great dinner as always, and the fireworks show ended up being more of a dance party. The boys were so funny!!!

Flaming Gorge
We had so much fun on our trip to the gorge. Grayson tried knee-boarding, and even went tubing with beau, he is so brave for a 4 year old. Bradley and Maycie just enjoyed the rides on the boat, if you ask Maycie about the trip she will tell you that she liked to go super fast in the boat. So for all of you that haven't been crawdad fishing it is my new favorite thing to do, all you need is raw chicken legs, and rope, a net and a flashlight and oh my goodness I could have done it all night, not to mention they are kinda tasty too. Today I had lunch with my CCF friends and it was so fun to talk and chat about all of the crazy things that happen there.

Upcoming Trip
We are all so excited to pack our bags and go on a much needed vacation. I am hoping it will be more relaxing than I am invisioning. Grayson and Maycie are so excited to go boating, I am just praying that maycie doesn't hit her head on anything and reopen her stiches. My kids are making me laugh right now, they are having a conversation with the neighbor boy about how cold snow is...random...huh..So last night was so scarey maycie must have woke up around 1 AM and went downstairs got into my purse and opened our back slider, so when I got up with Grayson at 2 AM because he was crying I could hear that a door was open downstairs...come to find out when I went back upstairs to check on Maycie she was not in her room, she had made herself a bed on the floor in my closet. She is such a sneaky little girl. So when she woke up this morning with lipstick on I wasn't too surprised.

My sister is the best!
So I am totally excited that my sister knows enough about computers to make my blog from blah to kinda cool. Thanks Kym your the best! I am so lucky to have such great sisters. We have so much fun together and it seems like as we get older we just get along better and better. What would I do without them? I love them to death!

Fireworks, stiches and ice cream!
So our 4th was a little bit more eventful than planned. As we left the mall maycie had an unfortunate collision with a door. It left her with 7 stiches right in the middle of her forehead, and a five hour visit to the ER. This is the second set of stiches in 2 months, she is our accident prone child. The rest of our 4th we spent at Adams parents watching a fireworks show, eating ice cream and playing with cousins. I was so excited that grayson and maycie both watched the fireworks show without tears, poor Bradley went to sleep before the fireworks started, but he loves going to sleep at grandmas house. Since the 4th I have just turned into an over protective mom not letting the kids run, jump, or do anything that could possibly re-split maycies head open.
